Last week the Prep cohort adventured around the campus looking for a rogue gingerbread man! The classes had carefully made gingerbread men when they got to school, but when they returned from morning tea they found their rooms in disarray, gingerbreads missing, a trail of mysterious crumbs, and a clue to lead them to his whereabouts.
With much concern and consternation, the group followed the clue which led them to some important landmarks around the school. The receptionist at the front office pointed to their next clue, which led them to the library, the health room, the chaplains’ rooms, and to Mrs Grady, Mr Valese, and Mrs Lean’s offices. They didn’t get there without some tough detective work – when one clue hinted they should go and see ‘the boss of the school’, one student could be heard saying, ‘well I don’t remember his name is but I know he’s definitely a boy and I know he wears black shoes!’
The clues eventually led them back to their classrooms where the mischievous gingerbreads had been hiding all along. Take a look at their adventure below…
