Year 3 have been busy writing narratives this term, drawing their inspiration from a picture prompt of a door in a forest. Would it be a magic door that led to something mysterious, sinister or wonderous? The plot was completely up to the individual and each student approached the task in their own unique way.
The students then had the opportunity to test out their story-telling abilities on new friends in Prep. They visited last week, and after being paired with buddies, got to read their creations and for some, show them their accompanying illustrations. The Preps were an enthralled audience, with many peppering the writers with questions or imagining alternate endings.
