Mueller has always been a school where faith has been interwoven into every school day. Prayer Week offered students even more dedicated time to focus on Jesus by bringing their heartfelt prayers before Him.

The Prayer Walk was a quiet space designed to prompt participants to talk to God through prayers of gratitude, praise, petition or intercession. After three days, there was a sense of it being a sacred space, with bowls full of prayer notes, walls full of things students are grateful for, hearts representing prayer for loved ones, paper chains of prayers for each other, and fabric pieces that held precious dreams and desires.

After break time rallies throughout the week, the event finished with a Thursday night rally where students led an intimate time of prayer and worship. Staff and parents joined, and it was a beautiful time of worship empowered by the Holy Spirit that many didn’t want to end.
