The 2023 Secondary Rubiks Cube Comp came to a head in assembly this week with a face-off final between students Connor & Ezekiel.
The open heats took place over two days in College Square, with the overall time averaged from three attempts. Contenders were somewhat hard to come by after the 2022 champion was seen on the cube, but some braved the hot competition and gave it a go.
In the finals, in front of the entire Secondary school, Connor timed in at an impressive 42 seconds. But it wasn’t enough to de-throne the carry-over champ, Ezekiel, who blew everybody’s socks off with a time of 14.2 seconds!
