Multicultural Day is an opportunity for Primary students to recognise and celebrate their family stories, cultures and communities. Many grabbed the chance to wear outfits reflecting a country of significance to them, donning kimono’s, saree’s, beret’s and all flavours of national sports jerseys.

Assembly began with the Lord’s Prayer beautifully recited by two Secondary students in Malayalam and Korean. Mrs Langford put out a call for students to wave their hands as she named countries around the globe, and the Primaries got to see the tapestry of nationalities represented in the room. The Samoan Cultural Dance performed by Secondary students was a highlight, and there were plenty of little arms gently stroking the air, trying to mimic their moves.

Primaries finished off with a parade around MPAC, dancing and celebrating multicultural Mueller!
