The Year Two 2023 Sleepover was a great success! It was a time full of fun and excitement where students experienced a taste of independence and fostered many new friendships.
Their anticipation for the exciting night ahead began when students arrived at MPAC with their belongings and beaming smiles. What followed was an array of activities which saw them bouncing on the jumping castle, sliding down the mega inflatable, and climbing on the playground. The students shared in a delicious dinner together, eating tasty pizza, sweet chocolate cake and yummy ice-cream. After a mini chapel in MPAC students headed to H block where they prepared their beds for the night ahead. They were all so excited to choose who to sleep next to, brush their teeth together and watch a movie in their cosy beds.
We had some early risers who loved participating in some ‘boot-camp’ style games in the Lacey Sports Centre. It was then time to pack-up and head to breakfast for some delicious pancakes. What a joy it was to see the Year Two students make some wonderful memories together at the 2023 Sleepover!
We appreciate all of the staff including groundsman, kitchen staff, support teachers and our classroom teachers, who supported the students through this adventure.
