Mueller Aviation Year 9 STEM students recently visited the Queensland Air Museum at Caloundra Airport. The group were split into 2 groups and each team was given a personal tour by the very knowledgeable staff.

The students were able to go up in the P3 Orion, a maritime aircraft that was used for coastal surveillance and sub-hunting. A display focusing on ejection seats was captivating and allowed the visitors to expand their knowledge on the subject. Museum staff kindly opened up the F111c (A8-129) for the students and the debrief back at school revealed that sitting in the ‘Pig’ was the highlight.
