Year 9 Business students had a visit from Bandigo Bank’s Samford branch this week to talk them through some banking basics. The group explored various aspects of financial literacy, with banker, Courtney, walking them through the benefits of budgeting, making financial goals, learning smart spending habits, and saving.
Other financial considerations were raised, with some students learning about superannuation and insurance for the first time. They then walked through a range of banking products, exploring what time of accounts were suitable for their personal circumstance.
