Over the past few years, Mueller has experienced the loss of several much-loved members of its school community to Brain Cancer. These have greatly impacted and affected students, parents, and staff alike. Brain cancer is a disease that shows no preference or partiality. The lives lost or affected in our school community make this a significant cause and focus for fundraising each year in Term Three.

Beanies are on sale all next week, and every dollar made from a purchase or donation goes directly to the Mark Hughes Foundation. Money raised by this organisation, totalling over $18 million in the last 6 years, is used in the research and treatment of this still relatively unknown disease to increase the survival rates of those sufferers.

Head to Level 2 of MPAC next week to buy your beanie and get a vote for Friday’s ‘BIG CHILL’. Nominated teachers will take the plunge into a tank of ice water on Friday!
