Humanities Week saw students go to the polling booths to vote for a new principal and vice-principal. The campaigning began in assembly when the ‘Let Loose’ party, the ‘Chill ‘ party, and the ‘Classical’ party went head to head in a debate.

Secondaries were then enticed by the classic ‘sausage sizzle for democracy’, rewarded for a visit to the ballot box. Jessica and Eden from the ‘Let Loose’ party came out on top, following through on their campaign promises to deliver Coco-Pops and iced coffee at Breakfast Club, Year-Level Co-ordinators wearing the formal uniform, and students permitted to wear pyjama pants to school on Friday.

The pair then took over Mr Valese’s office, making themselves at home until the first phone call when they happily handed the reigns back!
