Last week, our Senior Business students had the opportunity to glean wisdom from Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor and Assistant Shadow Treasurer Luke Howarth when they dropped into class. The students are currently studying economics, and Mr Taylor’s experience as a federal MP, together with his Master in Economics, made for an interesting session.
The visitors broke down the cost-of-living crisis, discussing how it might be impacting students and families. They then turned the questions on the students, listening to their thoughts on housing and future financial goals. It was a great opportunity for the students to observe how economics affects their world and to share their concerns as future voters.
