Some of our Primaries had the opportunity to sit the Australian Mathematics Competition last week. The occasion gives those who have shown a particular flair for maths a chance to stretch their knowledge, applying core skills to brand-new mathematical scenarios.
The competition is run by the Australian Maths Trust who say their vision is ‘to develop a nation of creative problem solvers, and we believe maths is the most effective way to get students there.’
