Nearly 150 Secondary girls and 15 staff came along to Girls Night last weekend, each dressing up as a character starting with the same letter as their first name. They ate pizza, drank spiders (of the soft drink variety) and enjoyed an ice-cream bar for dessert.

Just Dance, beading, boardgames, macrame and general hangs filled the night with laughter and fun. School captain, Ari, shared a powerful devotion on comparison being the thief of joy and the girls cheered each other on for an epic catwalk displaying some amazing costumes. Prizes were awarded for best dressed for each cohort, and Sienna Leahy, dressed as Shakespeare, won the overall prize of the night.

The night was an opportunity for the girls to contribute to a cause close to their hearts, with all proceeds going to The Hope House, a girl’s home in India.
