The Book Week parade is always the hero of the week but the fun continues long after the costumes are packed away with a variety of activities organised by our fantastic library staff. This year’s Book Week theme was ‘Reading is Magic’, and students got to explore some enchanted corners of ‘Neverland’, play games, dance, and experiment, all in the name of highlighting the books and stories that make us come alive.

The Secondaries got on board to organise an activity for their Early Years friends this year, setting up a character scavenger hunt where students collected stamps from the likes of Cinderella, Shakespeare and the Bananas in Pyjamas. They were positively mobbed by the excited little ones and enjoyed chatting and posing for photos.
