SCIENCE NEWS
Our science ambassadors are planning some great events during the National Science Week next term (11th – 19th August) including modelling gravity and the space-time continuum; and why we look the way we do (genetics and DNA). On assembly during Science Week, we are hoping to have a science trivia game show where the students can compete against the teachers to see who actually has the greatest science knowledge!
Congratulations also to our UQ Science competition winning team – Kurtis Sedlak, Zac Merckel, Zoe Gerber and Jake Arthur.
Their winning entry is below: Mini Saturn V for a mini scientist – “The legendary moment recreated with a 3D printed rocket, some Christmas lights and a pile of fluff.”
