Mueller College Prep student, Lincoln Spalding was so thankful for all the help he has received from Chaplain Mr K. throughout this year, that when he heard Mr K was taking a team of Mueller students to Cambodia in December to help build a house for a very needy family, he decide he wanted to help. If you would like to know more about the Cambodia mission trip, head HERE.

Lincoln really wanted to help, but what could a little Prep student do? Well, he jumped right in with all the enthusiasm and fearlessness of a 5 year old. With help from his Mum Kylie, Lincoln came up with his very own design and they set up a webpage called Galaxy Cat. You can go directly to his website and donate, or purchase a number of fun items including T-shirts, bags, iPhone cases and mugs to support the trip. All profits from the sale of these and donations will go directly to the cost of building the house in Cambodia.

Lincoln has set himself an ambitious goal of raising $1,000. Currently his total stands at $390.41. If you would like to help support our mission trip, while encouraging Lincoln’s fundraising efforts, please head across to Galaxy Cat.

Any contribution big or small would be greatly appreciated and will transform the lives of a very needy Cambodian family.

From Lincoln and his Mum…

My school has always prided itself in its innovative educational approach that puts emphasis on not solely teaching children theories and rules, but also helping them become more compassionate, understanding and loving of the world around them.

This is why the Chaplain at our school has set out on a noble mission to Cambodia in October with our school’s team, with the goal of helping a Cambodian family build a home for themselves.

I would really love to be able to help this mission and give my part in building this safe and inviting home that will give the Cambodian family the ability to experience if only one small part of the comfort and beauty of a home that we are privileged with experiencing and enjoying every day.

My final goal is raising $1000 for this cause and all of the funds raised will go directly to the school and Chaplain’s mission fund.

But to do this, I will need your help.

I strongly believe in the good will and kindness of the people around us, and even more believe that we who are happy and comfortable can always do our part by reaching out a helping hand to those in need, those not as fortunate as us.

There are few more in need than this family that has no roof over their heads, a shelter from the storm or the experience of beauty of a warm, cozy, happy home.

Let’s do our part in helping them get this by donating as much as we can and assisting our school Chaplain in their noble mission of giving this Cambodian family a true home. A home that they will enjoy being in for many years to come.

You can donate by clicking below or purchase an item from our shop.

Thank you for your kindness!
