In Week 10, last term, as part of our Year 7 Science students’ Physics curriculum, we hosted Starlab’s Cosmodome here at school. The students were able to experience an immersive journey through the solar system, focussing mainly on the Earth and how its seasons and eclipses are caused by the relative positions of the Sun, Earth and Moon. We also looked at the history of space travel, all the Apollo missions, and got to step on the moon with Neil Armstrong for the first time!

The students enjoyed the 40 minute Cosmodome show and were inspired to continue further study into our marvellous, wonderful universe.
