Each year, a number of Mueller students who show a particular proficiency in Maths, Science, English, Writing, Spelling or Digital Technologies are given the opportunity to sit ICAS assessments. ICAS is an external assessment body that aims to reward academic excellence and equip ‘teachers and parents with powerful insights to improve learning’.

As highlighted last year, Mueller students excelled in the assessments but only this week was it revealed that two Primary students topped Queensland with their results. Jayden Wang in Year 4, and Isaac Fernando in Year 5, each received the highest marks in the state for their year level in the Maths assessment. What a huge effort! The boys were awarded an ICAS medal for their achievement in assembly this week and given a generous round of applause from their classmates.
