In the lead-up to the start of the 2022 school year Mueller mum, Stacey Mattinson, wanted to do something to help those who may have been struggling to gather school items in a tumultuous season. She started a school supplies drive to gather goods with the aim of blessing some local families.
Donations were gathered and a total of 216 packs were given away with students from Mueller, Deception Bay High School, Scarborough State School, Kallangur State School, and North Lakes College benefitting from the campaign. Stacey told us she ‘was so overwhelmed with the amount of trust and support I had from families willing to help do this for the local children’.
A big thank you to those who donated and to Stacey for spearheading this campaign of kindness with the help of her two girls who contributed every step of the way.
