This term in Year 10 Fashion, students are designing a collection based on the theme “Queensland Summer”. They will then select one product to construct and will exhibit this by setting up a merchandising display.
To support this process, the class welcomed the designer of Emily B Designs and listened to her share her experience in the fashion industry. She brought along a selection of her own designs with the mood board, quick fashion sketches, and technical drawings to match, and told the class about her personal journey of employment in the fashion industry (Lorna Jane, Bo and Luca Weddings, Camilla. Etc) before sharing how she eventually developed her own style and brand.
