Year 8 had a visit from the team at OzHarvest in SL@M last week to talk about sustainable food. The presenter walked the cohort through the growing problem of food wastage, showing how their personal choices have an impact on the issue. They were challenged to think of creative ways to use leftovers, being conscious of using everything in their fridge. No doubt, some have taken the challenge home to their families.

They were also asked to bring in some non-perishable groceries for the OzHarvest Food Drive and the group exceeded expectations with their donations. Take a look below…
