The theme of Year 8 Camp this year is “Together We Are Better”. This week, in the lead-up to camp, the students had an opportunity to engage in problem-solving challenges that could be completed by developing cooperation and communication in small groups.
Activities included Air Bridge, Charades, Falling Trees, Minefield, Over the Fence and the Human Knot. Students enjoyed completing three activities in rotations during Week 7 and 9, and were blessed by the wonderful surroundings of college square and the newly covered activity areas. We’ll have more photos after the Year 8 Camp of the teamwork challenges completed by the students at CYC Burleigh next term.
