Mueller is a big community, there are almost 1800 students from 1200 families. Such a large community takes a lot of extra work to maintain a positive culture we can all be proud of.

The Mueller FETE is all about community, and smiles. A few years ago, I did the calculation on the value of every volunteer hour compared to the money raised at the Fete. When we considered the hours spent in planning, setting up, serving on the day, and then packing up, the Fete raised approximately 20 cents/hour of labour. If everyone who served gave just 20 cents per hour, we wouldn’t need to hold the Fete. I am sure there would be an outcry to not have the Fete purely on financial motives.

The Fete is about laying down positive memories in the minds of our children and seeing the joy of the smiles on their faces.

The Fete only happens with the hours of ‘contribution to community’. Staff, parents, and students all giving of their time to see the Fete succeed is a testament to the strength of the Mueller community.

Get excited for the FETE. We know it is always a terrific community day of happiness and smiles.
