Night with the Mueller Musicians was a chance for students who have invested many hours into practising and perfecting their voices and instruments, to showcase their progress to friends and family.

The Primary choirs brought magical performances, with the Early Years’ bringing a candlelit rendition of ‘Jesus Loves Me’, and Upper Primary beautifully singing ‘I’m So Blessed’. The experience of the string’s performers ranged from just 6 months up to many years, and the songs perfectly showcased the various levels of skill under Mrs Schmidt’s guidance.

The intermediate and senior Concert bands came together with Mrs Riek’s conducting, showing incredible cooperation as they performed several pieces with gusto. The Senior Concert band performed with a complimenting drama, a combination that they have used to enter an upcoming band competition, before finishing the night with a powerful rendition of ‘Lord of the Dance’.

For many, this was their first moment on a stage and despite nerves, they all rose to the occasion. The audience was a sea of glowing phones as loved ones proudly recorded the special moment. Well done to all of the students who brought their musical passion and skills together to offer such a lovely night of music.
