Ewan Jordaan

Congratulations to  Year 8 athlete, Ewan, for his outstanding achievement of being selected onto the MAG Gymnastics Australia Team Future Squad for 2023! This is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to his dedication, hard work, and talent in the world of gymnastics.

Being part of the Team Future Squad is a fantastic opportunity for athletes to continue growing and honing their skills on a national level. We wish Ewan all the best as he heads down to the AIS in Canberra in August for a training camp alongside the best gymnasts and coaches in Australia.

Tian Markart

Our resident water polo legend has been back in the pool with his team, taking the U19 Sunshine Coast team to victory at the Regional Championships.

The team took out the championship title in a nail-biting game, winning 9-8, and Tian was awarded Most Valuable Goal Keeper of the tournament. He is now training to be ready for the State Championships held in Sydney Olympic Park in September, and will continue his training for the 2024 Men’s World Championships. His preparation involves swim & goal keeper training 15 hours a week with swim sets, sprints, endurance workouts, and gym sessions to improve strength and conditioning. Keep it up Tian!
