Our Year 10 & 11 dance students had the opportunity earlier this term to push their understanding of contemporary dance and learn a new work by guest choreographer Courtney Sheu. Scheu is an independent dance artist based on the Sunshine Coast with extensive experience in the dance industry. Her choreographic work plays between waking and dreaming worlds, the real and unreal. This piece challenged students both physically and artistically, moving in a new way and experimenting with characterisation.
