The whole school gathered on Tuesday lunch to see Mueller’s first Great Court Race. One brave student, school captain Kody Hockey, took on teachers, Mr Lean and Mr Plumridge for three laps around the campus, totalling a 1.6km run.

Mr Langford grilled the competitors in assembly on Monday, uncovering their race strategies and athletic background. All are avid runners, but the ‘money’ was squarely sitting on Kody to take it out.

An electric race day saw all three competitors give their all, but after taking an early lead, Kody came home with a comfortable win in a time of 4:48s. However, all three were race day heroes in the eyes of many students who lined up for high fives, photos, and autographs. It was a fantastic day on the ‘track’!
