From the ‘Love Didi’ team…
‘Wow – it is safe to say that we were overwhelmed with the support for our first Love, Didi event! We saw over 600 people walk through the doors throughout the night, and we were able to raise over $3,500 which well exceeded our goal for the night.
In particular, we had a cake stall that ladies in the retirement village organised, and they sold out within 2 hours and made a profit of over $1,000! Who knew everyone loves cake so much?!
All the money raised goes directly to Transform the Nation’s local partners in Nepal who are working hard to rescue girls from slavery and restore their hope. Thank you to all who contributed – we couldn’t have done it without you! Stay tuned… The Love, Didi team is already working on organising the next event!’
