The Secondary Athletics carnival was wild with colour and competition when students descended on the oval for the big day. The theme for the day was ‘favourite TV or movie characters’, and this year’s Seniors went all out with Bananas in Pyjamas, Dr Who, and Forest Gump making an appearance, amongst many others.
But the real action for the day was found on the track and field. Crowds were wowed by Kody Hockey’s incredible high jump height, Aliyah Hionis’ track dominance and Teagan O’Friel’s all-round prowess, taking the blue ribbon in every single event. The tenacity of each student who put their name down to compete and gave it their all was just as impressive.
The sausage sizzle fed the troops, friends cheered on friends, and the Year 12 cohort said goodbye to school sports days. Check it all out below…
