Students studying Cert II in Tourism experienced a day in the life of being a cabin crew member with Aviation Australia at Brisbane Airport. Some of the excitement for the day included jumping from the fuselage of an aircraft using the emergency slide and floating in a huge life raft built to hold 70 persons.
Students received valuable information on how to apply for positions with airline companies and how to stand out ahead of other applicants when responding to advertised positions. They also learnt about a day in the life of cabin crew, what to expect and the benefits of travel opportunities that come with the job position. Aviation Australia only provides training at Brisbane Airport within Australia. Mueller students have the best possible opportunity to become part of the aviation industry through this unique experience, where they learn about cabin crew operations and expectations.
It was an introductory day that can lead to an exciting career pathway that is in demand.
