The Dance Showcase gives students from Prep through to Senior the unique opportunity to perform routines they have been working on throughout the year. The ‘Joy in Motion’ littlies brought out the goo’s and gah’s when they stepped onto the stage in their tutus and braved the bright lights and huge audience. Primaries had been working on some fun pieces that helped solidify foundational skills and brought smiles to faces.
Secondaries brought the full breadth of style and skill to the table with tap, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and more. The Senior dancers performed their final assessment on stage and screen, using the medium to give voice to chosen social issues. Some of our more experienced dancers blessed the audience with powerful solos that showed the fruit of hours and hours of practice.
