While most were at home doing online learning last week, some of our students of essential workers were doing their learning on campus. The science staff took the opportunity to inject some educational fun into the day by introducing the middle-schoolers to a variety of experiments.

The students replicated the watermelon experiment made popular on Youtube recently where they tested how many rubber bands it took to explode the giant fruit. They created their own paper airplanes for a classic flight competition in the Lacey Sports Centre and then took to the skies as they attempted to shoot water rockets on the oval.
