In January, Year 8 student, Micah Davis was invited to participate in the Mathematical Olympiad enrichment and training program. Micah is the first Mueller student to be part of the program and will spend the time studying interesting number sequences, from triangular numbers to the Fibonacci sequence.
Micah is amongst only 70 students in Queensland selected for the advanced maths program. His involvement has already begun with various maths problems assigned to him by the program each week, and regular zoom calls with his coaches to work through the solutions together.
With maths being his favourite class, Micah says he is grateful to be part of a program that will keep stoking his interest in the subject.
