The littlies at the Early Learning Centre are peaking with excitement at the new playground currently being constructed. If you’ve driven through the ELC carpark you will have noticed the new structure slowly coming to life on the western side of the center.
The beautiful space created with natural materials and high-quality timber will have a new area for wet play and a bike track that weaves through the yard with a garden shed to store equipment. The large undercover sandpit is now accompanied by a hero fort adorned with special artwork, and a new garden space will allow the children to explore and take care of some plants and flowers.
It may be hard to picture while it looks like a construction site but the playground is set to be a delightful addition to the ELC and should be open in the next two weeks.
