The weather was stunning for Year 8 as they went south for their year level camp last week. Tallebudgera was the perfect setting to continue the community building they have been working on this year.
Highlights include surfing lessons at the beach with lots of students standing up on a surfboard for the first time. The offer was extended for students to attend a sunrise walk on the beach and a whopping 37 of them got up before the sun to take the journey.
They hiked, canoed, and tackled initiative games on the beach, and then brought the fun with creative Star Wars costumes for May the 4th. Cabin 4 took home the crown in the pizza party competition by winning the trivia night and nailing the clean dorm brief for the week!
