It was a stunning day last week for the Secondary Athletics Carnival and students made the most of the sunny conditions on the field. Students tackled shotput, triple jump, javelin, high jump, shot put and long jump alongside all the running events, with some giving it all they had at every event, and others making the rounds to cheer their friends on. Records were set (170cm at the high jump!) and the competition was hot.
The theme this year was ‘Superheroes and Villains’ and the seniors took the dress-up game to the next level. Our service prefects and student volunteers ran a canteen to help raise funds for the Nepal mission trip later this year.
