The plane build has reached an exciting milestone over the holidays, with the plane leaving the little MUROC nest and heading out into the big world to get a fancy paint job. Students have been working on the plane body for 15 months under the direction of Mr Banks and several industry mentors. After much careful work, the real test was going to be whether the near-completed plane would fit out of the classroom doors. With only a little maneuvering, it was out the door, onto the trailer and on its way to Alliance Airlines who have generously donated the paint.

Over the last couple of days, MUROC students got to visit Alliance and help do the paint job themselves, ticking off another new experience in this journey.

The freshly painted Savannah will make its debut at the fete this Saturday, so drop by and take a look at the amazing work our students have been doing.
