The Parent Technology Information Evening will take place Wednesday, 20th February from 6:30-7:30 pm in MPAC.

Parents of students over the age of ten are encouraged to attend as the session will cover a range of topics including:·        
the device pathway at Mueller College,·         
the current process in Years 5-9 involving Apple Managed Devices,·         
research on the effects of screen time on childhood and adolescent development and·         
the importance of sleep in the midst of this.


Additionally, the presentation team will provide information on the current trends in adolescent device use and ways to assist this generation to become responsible and effective technology users whilst exposing some of the most concerning websites and applications that teens are accessing, as well as how to restrict access to these. Finally, and perhaps most importantly, the team will seek to equip parents and guardians with the information needed in order to best support their children when in need.
