Last week the Prep’s set off with great anticipation on their first excursion to Trevena Glen Farm. The first exciting thing was going on a big bus and for some students this was the highlight of the day.
Upon arrival the students were split into smaller groups and rotated through a great collection of farm activities.
We learnt about how to mix food for different animals and how the farm makes sure they have water and shelter to live. Students also got to cuddle some of the smaller animals such as rabbits and ride on a horse if they were feeling brave.
There were some tired little ones on the bus on the way home. The teachers take that as a good sign that lots of fun was had by all.
