For a moment on Fridays, a H-block classroom transforms from a space of lessons and assignments to one of prayer. Faith is woven into the fiber of Mueller and senior prefects host a weekly prayer room where students can pray for each other, for the school, and the wider community.

Discipleship Prefect, Emily Bush, led the first gathering by introducing those gathered to the theme of the year – ‘dangerous prayers’ – inspired by the book by Craig Groeschel. Emily encouraged the group to embrace a Luke 18:27 attitude in their prayer life this year…

Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.”

The bulk of their time together was then spent in small groups where they shared needs and spent time before God.

The prayer room is open to all Secondary students each Friday at morning tea.
