We are so happy to announce that together, the Mueller community raised $40,028 this year through the World’s Greatest Shave! Thank you to every person who participated, encouraged, donated, supported, and rallied to achieve such a phenomenal result for the Leukaemia Foundation!
Friday was such a special day as we watched students muster their courage to get up on a stage in front of the entire school to put their support into action. A couple smiled through the tears as they heard the first snips of the scissors. Others gasped as they were handed handfuls of their own hair. All of them showed a great amount of conviction as they told onlookers about how much they had raised and why they had chosen to participate.
What was obvious is that cancer is not far from everybody, even school-aged children. What loomed even larger is that there is another big-hearted, determined generation ready to fight it.
