This term the Year 7-9’s have had the chance to join a Youth Alpha group run during Chapel on Fridays. The course is designed to give students an opportunity to ask questions about faith in a ‘judgement-free zone’.
In the wake of Easter megaChapel, an incredible sixty students signed up to be part of Alpha, and each week they discuss a different aspect of Christianity. This week they contemplated the character and role of the Holy Spirit, telling stories of how the Holy Spirit has interplayed with their lives and watching videos that encourage them to dig deeper into their spiritual understanding.
It was a moving sight to see a room full of young people excited to dig deeper into the bible and their personal relationship with God.
