The Year 12 Food & Technology class were hard at work last week preparing some delectable treats as part of their latest assessment. Students were tasked with identifying new food options for a hypothetical cafe looking to expand their customer base.

The snacks needed to be ‘carbohydrate based, nutritious, single-serve, shelf stable or refrigerated, preparation-free, cooked or baked, savoury or sweet items, suitable for either lunch or a snack, that are easily transportable’ – not an easy task!
