Our senior dance students had the exciting opportunity to visit the Brisbane Powerhouse last Thursday. They enjoyed watching THREE, presented by Australasian Dance Collective (ADC).
The program featured three new creations from celebrated Australian choreographers, Kate Harman, Cass Mortimer Eipper, and Gabrielle Nankivell. This experience expanded our student’s knowledge and understanding of contemporary dance.
The students were privileged to attend the educational Insight Matinee where they heard from ADC’s Artistic Director Amy Hollingsworth, and choreographer Gabrielle Nankivell, discussing the themes and choreographic tools used to create these three unique dance works.
