2022’s Beanies for Brain Cancer week has been an un-beanie-vable success!! The Mueller College community demonstrated an extraordinarily generous and charitable spirit once again, raising a staggering $9400 last week for The Mark Hughes Foundation, in just five days. Beanies were sold all week with every single dollar going directly to the charity that raises money for research into the treatment and care of Australia’s Brain Cancer sufferers.

The week culminated with the inaugural Big Chill event on Friday. Fourteen staff and a couple of Year twelve students, nominated with each beanie purchase, took the slide into the chilly pool, freshened up with half a tonne of crushed ice! Primary and Secondary students enjoyed seeing their teachers, dressed in all styles of costumes, experience some discomfort as they plunged into the freezing waters.

A HUGE thank you to all students, teachers, staff, parents, and families who contributed this week. Your collective efforts have and will make a significant difference in the lives of those affected by Brain Cancer. Well done Mueller!
