The competition and the temperature was hot, hot, hot at the Primary Swimming Carnival last week. Covid and bad weather meant the carnival was postponed earlier in the year so students were extra excited to finally take to the pool.

Mueller sports houses, Moreton, Fraser, Stradbroke and Bribie chanted their war cries to begin the day, and then competitive races began. Those who weren’t up for the 50m swim got to spend time in the recreational pools playing games and enjoying the chance to cool off.

After lunch the 25m swims got underway and the encouragement from the sidelines was enthusiastic! It was a fantastic day out at the pool.
