Walk into the Prayer Room in a quiet corner of the Secondary school, and you will find an array of fervent and colourful requests decorating the wall. Each week students are invited to come together to pray for each other and whatever aspect of school life they feel drawn to.
The attendees look different each week but the Discipleship Prefects, Sarah & Maja, host the room and invite others to share. This week, they took time to pin their prayer and praise points to the wall, and prayed for Tom who was sharing in Chapel the next day.
While school can hold its challenges, and the current media climate doesn’t always speak well of our youth, it is encouraging to see this student-led river of faith flowing boldly through Mueller College.
