Congratulations to Year 7 student, Lennon Yates who has recently been selected for the U13 Bronze Soccer Academy team, the Jets, who compete in the National Premier League. He will be joining the new Soccer club ‘Moreton City Excelsior’ in 2024. This club is a Gold Rated Soccer Academy and is an extremely high-level QLD top soccer competition. There were over 475 applicants for this club so to gain a place on the team is a huge achievement!
Lennon has been playing for The Lakes FC Development Team for the last 3 years and has also been receiving private Soccer coaching from Jack Hingert this year. Jack plays for The Brisbane Roar Soccer Team (Australia A-League) – the photo below was taken during one of their training sessions this year.
