Year 9 Food Technology students had the whole school’s mouths watering last week as the aroma from the kitchen wafted over campus. They were finishing the term with their ‘International Street Food’ assessment that saw them creating dishes from a specific country or culture in finger food sizes.

The spread was delectable, featuring everything from American brownies, to Filipino leche flans and Greek spanakopita, English scones and Italian meatballs. Some lucky neighbouring classes got to come and sample the goods, and then vote for their favourite by placing a button in a jar next to the dish. Though certain dishes did come out on top, those who got to taste the food were the real winners!
