Walking into Mueller on the Monday of You Belong Week is a special experience. Staff line the entrances to welcome students with a smile, a wave, and a hearty ‘you belong’. It’s lovely to spot some children of staff who want to be part of the fun and stand with mum or dad for the morning welcome. Even the rain didn’t dampen the mood this year!
On Morris Rd, there are huge grins and hands waving back out of car windows and plenty of horns beeping as parents get in the spirit and acknowledge the orange wave. The orange shirts flow in from every direction, a practical sign of a personal commitment to creating a positive culture on campus, and the big week kicks off!
